Dear Students and Parents of Greenlake Martial Arts,
After carefully evaluating the situation we are currently facing, I have made the decision that temporarily moving lessons exclusively online is the best and safest thing we can do for our community at large.
Though I still believe few of us are at risk in our micro community of Greenlake Martial Arts students, the broader impact of us regularly gathering may pose significant risks to others. I believe right now it is critical that we all work together to do what we can to limit the impact of Covid-19. The faster and more comprehensively we take action, the faster our circumstances will resolve.
I did not make this decision lightly, nor out of fear. This precautionary measure is driven by data. If you wish to read one of the best breakdowns I have come across, please read here: https://bit.ly/2TPcNsa
How we plan to serve our Greenlake Martial Arts Community until March 31st *(this date may be revised based on rapidly changing events)
Starting Monday, March 16th we will hold all classes exclusively online during our regularly scheduled times. No in-person classes will be offered at the school during this time. I, and participating instructors, plan to offer the most engaging content we can through our online presence including interactive content.
We will be using the Zoom platform.
You can login via the internet on virtually any device.
You will need a small, clear and quiet area in which to practice.
You will not need any equipment.
If anyone has any questions whatsoever, please don't hesitate to contact us.
Tsun Jo® principles outline the need for commitment as well as the need to face adversity and challenges with clear eyes and resolve. Tsun Jo® principles teach us how to adapt.
I am confident that we can not only adapt during this time but even excel... especially with the right mindset.
I look forward to seeing YOU online in the virtual training room!
